This shoot was very stressful even though i had planned it very far in advance. I had booked the studio for the morning and I'm not a morning person so this stressed me out already. I found that i was running around trying to organise tiny things that i had forgotten about! My assistant didn't turn up to help and the model wasn't coming until later, so I had to set up the studio by myself in a big stress. Hannah Arrived half made up so she had to carry on doing her make up and getting dressed in the very small time that we had. Once we got shooting it was fine and I started to relax and enjoy experimenting with different coloured backgrounds and effects. I cut holes in a piece of cardboard and stuck it to the lights to give a soft spot light effect. it seemed to work really well and created interesting pictures. I gave Hannah poses to do that i had researched and found in other fairytale imagery and from children's stories and films. The final results were very impressive I thought and I was excited to be doing the location shoot later that day!
