Inspiration For Location Shoot

 

The wood seems like the perfect place for a fairy tale scene. The lighting is gorgeous in this picture although it does rely on the weather when i'm planning to shoot. Flowers add a lovely fantasy feel however blue bells won't be out when i will be shooting the pictures. I will look for flower filled areas. I could then base my styling around the location and flowers.

This is a darker looking fairy tale image. The girl looks innocent and beautiful but the figure behind her looks scary and eerie. The wood is more open in this image so it could be a country lane. The image makes it seem as though the photographer is trying to show the audience that the beautiful girl is not happy and everything is not ok because she has these dark feelings following her wherever she goes, even when she is in a beautiful setting.

 

I love these picture's effects, they are are very soft, light hearted and full of fun. They are extremly innocent. I love the locations because it adds to the whole feeling of the picture which i believe is freedom. A perfect situation to explore your childhood fantasies.

 

This is very rustic image. the images contrasts with the model as the barn is very run down and broken and the model is polished and perfect. The barn could express the fairys inner feelings as she looks slightly nervous and watching over her shoulder as if shes trying to hide from someone or something. This darker location is very interesting in fairy tale photography as it gives a much deeper image. There are so many more questions to be asked.

 

A plain, secluded field surrounded by trees could be a good option for a location.

 

This location is a very different idea for fairy tale. It looks like the photographer is trying to mix the idea of fairies with the modern world. Its very grungy and 'cool' looking. Although this is a clever take on the fantasy world i think i will stick to the traditional locations.

dDark woodlands with a lighting location kit or a woodland floor full of leaves and bare feet!

I could use the traditional locations but create a constructed sence with props and objects. This is a really sweet idea having a floating bedroom in the woods for a fairy.
